Daily Activity
Study daily. The more work you put into getting a good education, the more positive things you’ll get from it. Consider college as important as you would any job, but don’t overlook the social aspects. The better you do in college, the better career you will have once you graduate.
Eat breakfast when you have a test. Even if you’re short on time, grab a piece of fruit or a cup of yogurt. Your stomach can be distracting when testing. Eating a balanced breakfast and bringing some snacks with you should help you remain focused.
You will need to get acquainted with the professors of all your classes when they start. Make sure that you find out the location of their offices and the best way to contact them. It is wise to create a solid rapport in case you need a deadline extended or have another type of problem.
Don’t focus on your friends back home or a boyfriend or girlfriend in your hometown. Chances are you will not stay together through four years of college and you will grow apart. Just enjoy college, meet new people, and feel lucky that you have the opportunity to get away from home to better yourself and branch out.
